Position includes work in an Intensive Outpatient (IOP) setting with clients diagnosed with eating disorders. Therapeutic interventions include experiential practice of normal eating patterns via nightly dinners with clients, and practicing anxiety reduction techniques during and after the meal. Therapist will also run nightly therapeutic group focused on healing mind, body, and relationship with food, individual and family sessions, and case management for all IOP clients. Eating disorder experience preferred.Motivated to work in a team-oriented environment. He/she will perform individual, group and family counseling.
Perform a variety of counseling, screening, intake, assessment and referral services. Develop and implement treatment plans. Complete client records in a timely manner in accordance with state regulations. Assists in program development and administration as needed. Conducts outreach projects as needed (i.e. marketing open house, site visits, mailings). Attends weekly supervision and staff meetings. Prepares reports and letters necessary for all entities (i.e. parole, MCOs) as necessary. Maintain continuing education requirements in accordance with state and/or licensing boards. Maintain professional standards related to dress and appearance. Be familiar with company Policies and Procedures. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by Site Manager or Leadership Team.Be familiar with and agree to follow the APA Ethical Code of Conduct.
Qualifications -The following must be met to be considered:
1) Master's degree in social work, counseling or related field.
2) Clinical experience
3) The following license in state of employment (PA) is preferred :
LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD/PsyD
