Elizabethtown College is seeking an Area Coordinator for our Residence Life Department.
This position is a 11-month live-in position supporting the mission of Elizabethtown College through the management of a residential area of 300-500 students and 12-14 Resident Assistants. Each Area Coordinator is responsible for a cluster of residential buildings which may include groupings of traditional residence halls or apartment-style housing. In addition, the Area Coordinator works closely with the Office for Student Activities in the implementation of campus-wide student programming. Area Coordinators at Elizabethtown College are committed, caring educators who are passionate about working with students. Area Coordinators must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with students and staff from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQIA students. The Area Coordinator reports directly to the Associate Dean of Students & Director of Residence Life
Bachelor’s degree including graduate level or professional Residence Life experience; proficient in interpersonal relationships and experience in advisement and supervision of student staff.
Master’s Degree in College Student Personnel or related field.

Hours for this position are 40 hours per week; 8:30-5:00pm Monday - Friday; evenings and weekends as needed. Salary is $15.50 per hr. /$29,760 per yr., plus additional time and a half for all hours worked over 40.
