VisionQuest is hiring an Assistant Program Director for a residential program in Philadelphia, PA. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish. An Assistant Program Director provides direct support to the Program Director and serves as a secondary liaison with outside agencies. This position provides liaison with governmental and private agencies with which VisionQuest contracts. Salary negotiable.
Assist the Program Director by serving as a secondary liaison with outside agencies. The assistant program director is a dynamic leader that oversees program norms and safety within the program, and is in charge of implementing and monitoring the daily schedule, managing daily operations, and maximizing staff performance through ongoing supervision and training. The assistant program director carries out policies and procedures and administrative supervision, to ensure that services are provided in a trauma informed and outcome-oriented environment. This position requires the ability to build effective teams and moderate conflict to create a positive and safe environment for innovation, problem-solving and collaboration.
At a minimum, the Assistant Program Director must have a Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, sociology or other relevant behavioral science plus multiple years of progressive employment experience in a social services or childcare agency or organization.
