Focus on rapid identification and resolution of customer service issues
Answer questions and perform initial triage on service tickets
Troubleshoot and resolve voice and data networking issues to resolution
Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise level communications networks
Timely and effective resolution to service tickets based on service level agreements
Provide customers with updates to keep them apprised of progress toward problem resolution
Update the service ticketing system with details on actions taken and problem resolution
Provide technical assistance for hardware, software and/or applications
Provide on-site installation and other professional services as needed
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures as provided by Norstar Management
Provide customers with training on VOIP Unified Communications solutions either on a one to one basis or in a class room setting
Participate in team meetings and customer meetings as requested
Experience with Microsoft Server Platforms 2008, 2012, and 2016
Understanding of Voice over IP technology; experience working with telephone switching systems and legacy PBX’s, VOIP and hosted Cloud solutions
Experience working with network infrastructures and understanding the fundamentals of LAN and WAN principles, static and DHCP addresses, routers, sub netting and wiring
Must be a team player with excellent collaborative and Analytical problem-solving skills
Knowledge, understanding, and practical application of basic computer systems including disk management, file systems, memory management and related concepts
Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels of an organization
Ability to participate in multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
Ability to handle escalations and small projects with minimal supervision
Computer Skills – proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and CRM
Desired Education and Certification:
Associate of Science Degree or comparable work experience
A+, Network Coursework preferred
Mitel MiVoice Business VOIP Certification, Mitel Connect, Meraki and SIP experience a plus
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in I.T. field
