High School Principal
The PennManor School District, located in Lancaster County, is seeking a dynamic instructional leader to serve as High School Principal to approximately 1650 students in grades 9-12. The ideal candidate will possess instructional expertise and demonstrated excellence leading many curricular and extra-curricular areas. With strong central office support, this Principal will lead an outstanding team of 4 assistant principals and 154 classroom staff dedicated to high achievement and continued success with academics, extra-curricular, and athletic programs.
Qualifications and Requirements
A valid PA Administrative Certification, Master's Degree required, doctoral degree is considered advantageous, two (2) years of successful building level experience, expertise in instructional leadership and school management, and be a contributing member of district-wide leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To direct the supervision and evaluation of high school staff, direct all instructional and co-curricular goals for the grades 9-12 building, administer and implement district policies at the high school level, direct a program designed to generate accurate, efficient, and timely communications with all constituents, and direct programs to insure the safe and orderly delivery of the instructional program. The successful candidate will be able to balance a high level of expectations in academics, athletics, and extra-curricular activities.
