Co-Occurring Specialist in Washington, NJ.
Position Overview: As part of a multi-disciplinary, core services team, provides assessment and direct service to individuals with seriously and persistently mentally illness who are enrolled in the PACT Program.
Assesses history and current needs and preferences of the person served in the areas of mental health and substance use.
Works with the person served and the team to develop integrated mental health and substance use treatment goals and interventions.
Provides clinical leadership for PACT staff in the area of dual disorder treatment.
Create and Maintain: A wellness and recovery-oriented environment by using person-first language, respectful documentation, person centered planning and evidence based practices.
All services provided will promote a wellness and recovery outcome.
A culture of compliance with internal and external policies, regulations, laws and high ethical standards.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related area required.
CAC or CADC required or must be attained within three years of hire into the position.
Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related area preferred.
Two years paid post degree work experience in mental health preferred.
Two years' experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders or substance abusers required.
Valid driver's license required. No more than one moving violation within the past 12 months.
