This is a highly visible position responsible for increasing awareness and building enthusiasm for CDE Career Institute through student recruitment initiatives, outreach and communication, and specialized events. The Admissions Recruiter develops partnerships with community colleges, corporate/community organizations, and faculty. The Admissions Recruiter generates inquiries from prospective students that convert to enrolled students. 60% on road recruitment activities.
Develops relationships with high school counselors, community colleges, and corporate/community organizations in order to generate inquiries and attain recruitment goals.
Generate leads by representing CDE Career Institute at on-site visits, college fairs, community colleges, and other external events.
Collects information on inquiries for entry into the lead-management system, and tracks them through the stages of interview, application, admit, and enroll.
Supports efforts of the admissions team to convert inquiries into applicants and then convert applicants into enrolled students.
Through relationship building and outreach communication, achieves goal of getting guidance counselors and influencers to identify and recommend students who are a good fit for CDE.
Provides input to our marketing team to help them develop systems of communicating directly with prospective students.
Through all recruitment efforts, achieves the ultimate goal of increasing our market share of students from high schools and community colleges in our region.
Provides reports as requested by management and analyzes operational data for process and organizational improvement.
Perform other duties/projects as assigned

Computer proficiency in MS Office and Outlook required and ability to learn new software.
Ability to travel on a daily basis and work weekends and evenings.
